Lovely as an aperitif or perfect with cheese

Gold, ripe fruit and solid with the notes of a perfect Riesling, peaches and apricot but also petrol notes from Devonian slate.  Carefully selected fully-ripened, botrytis-touched grapes were hand-harvested on October. Five weeks of fermentation in fuder (old 1,000 liter capacity oak barrels). The wine was then bottled under natural cork
