In the same family for five generations, Haut Philippon offers all the advantages of a private property par excellence. Helen and Yannick and their son Roman, have breathed new life into the vineyard and are aware that the quality of a great wine is no coincidence. The family own a number of properties including Haut Philippon and Les Tuileries.

"Dark garnet with purple tints, this wine reveals fine hints of cherry eau-de-vie. Warm aromas found in a rich and persistent palate, built on firm tannins and a fond character."
Sits in the Entre deux Mers and consists of 11 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle on clay and limestone soils. A pre-fermentation maceration is carried out for 20 hours to allow the extraction of the aromas as well as the grape tannins. Ageing on lees follows to develop the flavours and ageing potential, then filtering before bottling, all of which takes place exclusively at the Château.Pale yellow to grey notes, this wine has a delicate nose of white flowers and citrus. An elegantpalate of long, well-rounded and balanced fruitiness.
The average vine age is 20 years and yields are 55 hectolitres per hectare.
